We support Pharmacists Without Borders
As already explained here, the Em‑eukal brand has its origins in the pharmacy.
Even today, the pharmacy is still an important contact point for many customers... for stocking up on Em‑eukal too. A visit to the pharmacy is often associated with collecting prescriptions.
We are fortunate in that we can simply go to the nearest pharmacy. But many other countries and regions in the world do not have this luxury. It is therefore all the more important that organisations fight on a daily basis to bring medicinal products to poorer regions, crisis-stricken or disaster areas. This is where the charitable organisation Pharmacists Without Borders comes into play.
The charitable relief organisation has been working since the year 2000 to supply rapid, competent medication assistance during catastrophes and is committed to the long-term improvement of healthcare in over 20 countries worldwide to help sick people in distress and enable them to have a healthy life. The work of the organisation starts where the work of doctors ends. The doctors make the diagnosis and prescribe medication. Pharmacists Without Borders dispense the medication accordingly and explain how it is to be taken.
It is important for Em‑eukal to support such vital work. This is why we are now in our third year of cooperation with the organisation and donate money to the organisation every year during a fund-raising action in the season. This year, for example, 7 cents per Em‑eukal tin sold at the pharmacy is going to the organisation.
We are proud to be allowed to make a small contribution to this particularly important and challenging work!
